"Sleeping In" by The Postal Service from Give Up (2003)
Ben Gibbard is a great songwriter. Unfortunately, his efforts have been dismissed because he's "too emo." (Aside from his work with The Postal Service, Gibbard is Death Cab For Cutie's front man.) Now, if you choose not to buy into ridiculous labels you'll find a wealth of great songs by each of his bands. "Sleeping In" provides the soundtrack to Utopia: Gibbard's soft voice matches his dream narrative perfectly, as does the keyboard-driven melody, making this a fitting tune for the wonderful weather we've been having.
